CSG training conferences provide a forum for DOE and DOE contractor personnel to share cyber security information and concerns. This year’s conference theme was “Take the Puzzle Out of Cyber Security!” The conference agenda featured speakers from across the Federal Government, as well as the Department and the National Nuclear Security Administration. The conference Steering Committee Chair was Mr. Michael Robertson from DOE Headquarters, and the 2004 Program Chair was Ms. Lori Ross O’Neil, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, Richland, Washington.

Pre-conference workshop sessions were offered on Monday, May 24. Some workshop sessions required preregistration; refer to the conference agenda for more information. Additional “Birds of a Feather” sessions occurred in the evening throughout the conference.

You've probably heard a little something about Kansas City’s world-famous barbecue and mouthwatering steaks. Kansas City is just like the food it's famous for: spicy, sizzling, casual, and friendly. This year’s fabulous social feast, Food and Fun—Kansas City Style, was held on Tuesday, May 25. We sampled these epicurean delights (check out this menu!) and savored the fun of Comedy City’s “Half-Court Press.” Advance tickets for the social were sold out.

New This Year! We invited students of accredited U.S. colleges and universities to submit original, not previously published papers on cyber security topics. See the Call for Student Papers page for more information.
