CSG training conferences provide a forum for DOE and DOE contractor personnel to share cyber security information and concerns. This year’s conference theme was “Reduce Your Vulnerabilities and Protect Your Resources.” We selected speakers from across the Federal Government, as well as the Department or Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration. The conference Steering Committee Chair was Mike Robertson from DOE Office of Science, and the 2005 Program Chair was Regina Kahn from Pantex.
We again invited students of accredited U.S. colleges and universities to submit original, not previously published papers on cyber security topics. See the Student Papers page for more information and to read the winning paper.
Attendance at this conference can be used to meet requirements for computer security training as specified in Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-130, Management of Federal Information Resources, 11-28-2000, and Public Law 100-235, Computer Security Act of 1987, and Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002.
